About

Hey, I’m Ramis

I’m the guy behind Zen Coloring Pages. For the past six years, I’ve been creating free printable coloring pages for kids (and honestly, some adults too).

Check my all posts here.

How This Started

Back in 2019, my niece was going through an intense unicorn phase. I’m talking unicorns on everything. Shirts, backpacks, bedroom walls. She’d colored through every coloring book we could find, and my sister was running out of options.

So I made her a few custom pages. Nothing fancy, just some unicorns with thick lines that a 4-year-old could actually color without getting frustrated.

She loved them. Her friends wanted copies. Their parents asked if I had more.

That’s how this started. One niece, a few unicorns, and suddenly I’m running a coloring page website with 1104+ designs.

What Parents & Teachers Say

I didn’t start this site expecting feedback, but over the years I’ve heard from parents, teachers, and even a few adults who color themselves. Here are some of the things people have shared with me.
“My daughter is obsessed with the fairy pages. We’ve printed the same butterfly fairy like 15 times now because she keeps wanting to try different colors. The lines are thick enough that my 4-year-old doesn’t get frustrated, which is honestly rare for free coloring pages. Bookmarked.”
Sarah M.
Mom of two (Ages 4 & 7)
“I use these for early finishers and indoor recess. The Greek mythology set is perfect because the kids actually learn something while coloring. I’ve tried a lot of free coloring sites and most are either too babyish or too complex for my students. This one hits the sweet spot.”
Diana R.
3rd Grade Teacher
“Started printing these for my 6-year-old son and ended up coloring the dragon pages myself on a Sunday afternoon. No signup, no weird downloads, just click and print. Exactly how it should be.”

What I Actually Do

Every page on this site is designed with kids in mind. That sounds obvious, but a lot of coloring pages out there are either too detailed (kids give up halfway) or too boring (they lose interest in two minutes).

I try to hit that middle ground:

For younger kids (ages 2-5): Big shapes, thick outlines, not too much going on. Easy wins.

For older kids (ages 6-10): More details, fun scenes, stuff that actually keeps them engaged for a while.

For the patient ones (ages 10+): Detailed designs that take time. Some adults print these too, and I’m not judging. Everything is free. No email signup required, no “premium” upsells. Just click, download, print.

Why Free?

I get asked this a lot. Short answer: I remember being a kid and my parents not always having money for extras. Coloring books were a luxury sometimes.

I want any parent, teacher, or caregiver to be able to print these without worrying about cost. If it keeps a kid entertained and off screens for 20 minutes, that’s a win.

A Bit About Me

I’m based in New York (Manhattan, specifically). Self-taught designer. I have a background in web development and picked up design along the way.

Learned most of what I know from YouTube tutorials and a lot of trial and error.

When I’m not making coloring pages, I’m probably:

  • Drinking way too much coffee
  • Going to gym (or thinking about going to gym)
  • Testing new pages on my niece and her friends (they’re brutal critics, but honest)

Get In Touch

I read every email I get. Seriously.

Have a request? love hearing what kids are into these days. If I can make it, I will.

Found a problem? Broken link, weird download, anything like that, let me know and I’ll fix it.

Just want to say hi? That’s cool too.
